Facility of Deferment of Premium for Fungible FSI for SRA Projects
Background
On 6/January/2012, the MCGM had allowed for Fungible Compensatory FSI against the payment of premium to deter the illegal/irregular uses of balconies, flower beds, niches etc. which had become rampant in Mumbai. All such areas/features susceptible to irregularities of use were accordingly included in the FSI calculation.
Intent
- Considering the slowdown in the Real Estate Sector is has been decided not to escalate the Ready Reckoner Rates for the year 2018-19.
Content
- The Ready Reckoner Rates for 2018-19 will be retained as per the previously published Ready Reckoner Rates of 2017-18.
- Any specific updations to specific land parcels will be conveyed through timely updates on the online portal www.igrmaharashtra.gov.in .
Open Questions
- The teams referring to the Ready Reckoner Rate will need to refer to the online portal for specific updations beyond the 2017-18 Ready Reckoner publications.
